Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable transport and haulage company, is seeking to hire an experienced and reliable Fuel Attendant Officer. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability in managing fuel dispensing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense diesel to company trucks and equipment as scheduled and authorized.
• Accurately record daily fuel issuance, including truck details, driver information, and kilometer readings.
• Monitor fuel consumption and promptly report any discrepancies or irregularities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of fuel to prevent leakage, theft, or contamination.
• Maintain detailed fuel logs and submit regular reports to the Transport, HR, or Admin departments.
• Work closely with drivers and the transport team to ensure smooth fueling operations.
• Enforce company policies on fuel usage and report any violations (e.g., siphoning or misuse).
• Assist with stock checks and reconciliation of fuel inventory.
Requirements:
• Minimum of OND in any discipline
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of fuel handling and safety procedures
• Basic computer literacy
