JOB VACANCY – PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Location: Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State
Salary: ₦120,000 – #150,000 Monthly

Our client, a reputable cashew manufacturing company with a robust production network in Nigeria, is seeking a qualified and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee production activities and ensure efficient operations within the processing facility.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor production processes to ensure output meets quality standards and daily production targets.
* Assign duties, monitor employee performance, and provide guidance to production personnel.
* Ensure shelling machines and other production equipment are operated efficiently and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
* Conduct routine inspections to maintain product quality and minimize waste or kernel breakage.
* Identify operational challenges, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalate major equipment faults to the maintenance team.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
* Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, attendance, and equipment performance.
* Train and mentor production staff on operational procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
* Collaborate with management to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall plant performance.

Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams.
* Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Basic knowledge of machine operations and preventive maintenance.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
* Must be willing to work in Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State.
